Biography
I began teaching at Laurentian in 1999, after doing graduate work at Queen's and teaching at the International Study Centre at Herstmonceux Castle, East Sussex. From 2009 to 2012, I served as chair of the English Department. In my non-academic life, I have sung in a number of local choirs, including the Sudbury Chamber Singers, Ariadne Women's Chamber Choir, and Octatonic Decadence.Education

Research
My research interests are in the areas of early-modern women's writing, printing in sixteenth-century London, early-modern London, and book history.Awards
